Nation Watch SA is a South African news site that puts the weather first and covers current affairs second.
Why we exist
To give South Africans practical, local weather information, with the South African Weather Service's warnings explained, for the metros and for Vaal towns that are often under-served, alongside independent reporting on the issues that affect daily life.
What we do, and what we don't
- We report and explain forecasts and SAWS warnings.
- We do not issue our own forecasts or warnings. Our forecast pages present model data from MET Norway; official warnings come only from SAWS.
- In an emergency, follow SAWS and your local disaster-management authority.
